Raw, source, converted, and destination links
- Source or raw link: the URL associated with the original external page or album in the row.
- Converted link: a URL produced by another tool or platform to continue looking for the same item in a different interface.
- Redirect: a navigation step that sends the browser from one URL to another.
- Final destination: the page that remains open after redirects finish.
These terms describe a route, not a trust level. A raw link can be old. A converted link can point to the wrong item. A clean final page can still lack measurements or current options.
What common source terms usually signal
| Term | Likely browsing context | Useful first check |
|---|---|---|
| Yupoo | Album-style image browsing or a catalog presentation. | Can the album, item title, and visible images be connected to a current product or contact route without guessing? |
| Taobao | A marketplace item or shop page with options and listing details. | Does the current item, option, size information, and image set match the spreadsheet row? |
| Weidian | A marketplace or shop-style destination that may use compact listing information. | Confirm item identity, option, current visible details, and whether a login or regional state changes what can be seen. |
| 1688 | A supplier-oriented listing where variants, quantities, or business-purchase context may matter. | Check minimum quantities, variant pricing, specifications, included pieces, and whether the row simplified a more complex offer. |
The interface and access state of an external platform can change. Treat these descriptions as reading clues rather than a promise about the exact page you will see.
Use a before-and-after link check
Before opening
- Write the category and a plain description of the expected item.
- Record the visible source term and domain if the sheet shows them.
- Name the detail the next page must answer: size, photos, options, price context, or weight.
After opening
- Read the final domain and page type.
- Compare item identity, option, title, and key images with the row.
- Check whether the missing detail is now visible.
- Mark the result as matched, changed, unclear, or blocked.
How to handle redirects and converter results
A redirect may be normal, but every extra step creates another place for the item identity to change. Compare the URL and content after the redirect rather than trusting the converter label.
Matched conversion
The final page shows the same product category, recognizable item details, and corresponding option information. Continue with normal photo, size, price, and weight checks.
Unclear conversion
The final page opens a search result, homepage, account prompt, another item, or a page where the original identity cannot be confirmed. Do not fill the gap with assumptions.
This site does not provide a sinabuy link converter. It also cannot inspect private account state or confirm what an external platform does after login.
When the destination no longer matches
- Return to the spreadsheet and mark the row as changed rather than silently replacing the description.
- Search by the neutral category and missing feature, not by promotional wording.
- Use a current category search to rebuild the comparison set.
- Keep the old row only as a research note if it explains what changed.
Useful mismatch note
“Row described a zip hoodie; current destination shows a pullover. Removed from this comparison and reopened the Hoodies category with zip closure as the required feature.”
External-link safety habits
- Check the domain before entering account, contact, address, or payment information.
- Use the official account and support area of the service you intentionally chose.
- Do not interpret a spreadsheet label as permission to ignore a browser warning or unfamiliar payment route.
- Keep product discovery, account access, order status, payment, and shipping evidence separate.
- Close the page if the destination requests information unrelated to the browsing task.
A link match is only one layer
Matching the item does not verify seller identity, product quality, platform policies, payment safety, refund handling, shipping availability, customs treatment, or delivery.
Choose the next step from the result
If the link matches and the missing detail is visible, move the row into a small comparison set. If the link matches but the photo evidence is weak, use the QC photo guide. If several rows have changed, run the 10-row freshness audit before spending more time.
